Damien Smith

Dr Damian Patrick Smith MB BS BSc, FRACS
07/2007 - 01-/2008

Dr Damian Smith is a graduate of the University of Sydney with Degrees in Science and Medicine. He was awarded his Fellowship of The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2007. He then embarked on further subspecialty fellowships and was the Fellow to The Canberra Orthopaedic Group from January 2007 to June 2007. Following this, he spent time in the United Kingdom undertaking a Hip Arthroplasty Fellowship in Exeter, then becoming the Paediatric Hip Fellow at the Southampton General Hospital. He returned to Australia in July 2008, where he joins the Canberra Orthopaedic Group, and has a private appointment at Calvary John James Hospital. Dr Smith specialises in lower limb arthroplasty, knee reconstruction, hip and paediatric hip conditions.
