Sandy Wraight started working as the second full time research assistant in September 1997, having previously worked as a clerk to the hip team consultants.
The hip unit at Exeter keeps a record of every hip that has been implanted at the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre and Sandy ensures that the follow-up of the Hip Unit patients is complete. Her responsibilities also include archiving and digitising the x-rays. She has been instrumental in assisting the hip fellows with their research, assisting them with obtaining the medical records and X-rays.
