| Following the completion of his undergraduate training in Manchester, Mr Timperley carried out his postgraduate education in London, the North West of England and the Midlands. He was a registrar on the South West rotation and undertook two years research as a Hip Fellow under the supervision of Professor Ling in 1990. He was awarded the Charnley Fellowship and Mr Timperley carried out a further Hip and Knee Fellowship in the United States during the latter stages of his training. He was appointed to a Consultant position in 1994. His clinical work at the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Hospital now concentrates on hip and knee replacements, especially revision arthroplasty. |
