| I was born in Iran and educated in England. In 1996 Following my graduation and early surgical training at the London hospital I emigrated to Australia. I completed my training in orthopaedic surgery in Sydney and was awarded the fellowship of the Royal Australasian college of surgeons in 2004. I spent a further twelve months subspecialising in the surgery of the hip and knee, first here in Sydney and subsequently as the clinical and research fellow at the Exeter Hip unit in 2005. I am currently in private practice at the Sydney bone and joint clinic and the Sydney sports medicine centre at the Olympic park. |
